That's all well and good, but that's basically just empty words when you can't actually do that. CS wasn't as big at the time, and most people, especially in the unsalaried NA scene, couldn't realistically make a living off the game.

At the time, top 8 at a major was 10k, which would likely barely let you net positive off the trip to Europe. I'm not gonna say that what they did is right because there was no real money in the scene, but there is a reason several pros like Adren went to go do real work instead of continuing to play.

When it was rumored after the fact that Swag would've probably retired if he had no money due to his family's poor financial situation, people are obviously going to be empathetic.

I don't get your point about some people not getting even one chance. You get chances by earning them. Most people will never care or be good enough to get that first chance, I don't see how that's even an argument.

There's lots of things people never get a chance to do. As for deserving a second chance, the end goal of the most successful punitive systems is reforming offenders.

This is why less important crimes involve community service. This is why when players like steel actually make some good content to give back, people want to use that as a basis for unbanning players.

Other players, like AZK and briefly steel and dazed , have migrated on to other games. Overall, I don't think it's as black and white as lots of people make it out to be.

There's a reason punitive systems are always complicated. Fair points, I just want to say that they wouldn't be taking anyone's place if they got a 2nd chance though.

Even though iBP and the players were, at times, some of my favorite topics in the scene I'd have to say they do deserve a similar fate.

Of course, it's all on a spectrum like most of the shitposters on this subreddit and there could most certainly be scaleable punishments for people who detract from the scene.

I don't agree with him cheating, but if he can offer anything to viewers that choose to watch why should he not be able to make money?

What he offers to viewers is the knowledge that you can cheat your way to a professional organization, get banned, and still be popular.

In my opinion, that's incorrect. To largely detract value from the CS:GO scene at the time and then profit off of it in the future?

It's sad as hell if you blindly agree with that. Furthermore, I liked KQLY. He was an admirable player on a successful team.

I liked watching him, and I still could watch him right now but I have no interest in scumbags that cheat an organization and scene out of a legitimate experience and then go back to respecting it when they need more cash flow.

I'm not hilarious or more skilled, but I definitely present a decent argument. Let's hear yours! Once a cheater always a cheater is true.

It's just that using cheats once when you're 12 years old doesn't make you a cheater You provide a pretty good view of the topic at hand but unfortunately people think that disagreeing with something means they should downvote it.

Your comment is good content, not just another "lol stop projecting u lil bish" interjection by some half-wit. Good stuff!

I guess that is because he got caught from ESL anti cheat only and not from VAC. Vac will only ban you forever if their own anti cheat tool catches a person.

A runner like Tyson Gay was caught using drugs at the OLYMPIC GAMES and was suspended for a year but can now compete again. Stop acting like a child.

Using performance enhancing drugs doesn't guarantee a win in the same way that cheating in Counter-strike can. If acting like a child is going against the grain and presenting a half-decent argument organized into coherent sentences then I'm fine with that.

He's never going to go pro again. The smug motherfucker can dream all he wants but let's be honest, he is never going to play in a pro team ever again.

If he finds a loop hole and plays in some non Volvo official tournament, it would be the scummiest thing. Why is he even in the community any more?

Why aren't we talking about the current cheater pros? It would be naive to think people are not cheating. I mean look at some of Dan M's clips, yes some are shit, but a lot of them also makes me suspecius.

I know I don't compare to pros, but as a Supreme I still wonder why pros ofent do jerky crosshair movement staring into a wall. The recent clip of Dan M and Hellraisers is just TOO much.

There has to be cheating in the pro scene. How did i end up getting a lifetime ban from esl and the hacker is back after two years?

This makes a lot of sense, from his statements as soon as he was found out it was obvious he was trying to paint it as the most innocent and naive use of a cheat possible, this is because he knows Valve's policy is not to comment on others accounts and so only his side of the story will be seen.

I mean who cares? It's like "hey i cheated on a other account, im not a cheater on my main account". I don't get that excuse.

Imho thats some kind of nasty behaviour. Even if he just was curious. In the end he cheated. Plain and simple: he cheated.

Plot twist: Gabe banned them so close to DH:W so they wouldn't win because he's lost too many skins on betting against them. Cheaters are known to be pathological liars, on the internet aswell as in real life if they have a life.

I know 4 people from the scene in Belgium around that have been cheating alot, they get VAC banned, socalled dissapear from the scene but actually having a new account with fake alias and come back to the scene, and when they really want to attend a LAN for fun they change their nickname because people are going to see their face anyway on LAN.

Those 4 got banned every years, they couldn't stop cheating, they tried but after realising they suck hard they just cheat again.

All those 4 are also known pathological liars in the community and in real life as I know 2 of them personal because of 's of LAN's b4.

One being in jail right now after stealing from his own grandma's sandwichbar where he worked halftime in the summer only, he was addicted to gaming and hasn't worked before age Most cheaters in online games are also cheaters in real life, or going to be, they are mentally ill and have the need of attention because they don't receive it in real life.

But hey, why robbing a bank and having a huge chance to go to jail, when you can get the same money while cheating in CS e-sports and never going to jail when getting busted right?

It's a criminal's heaven right here. It's only a mather of time before the Italian Maffia plays CS ;-. They lie about everything and will say the most extreme lies and kill other people's reputation just to save their own ass, they would even probably hurt their own parents so some people believe their lies as it makes them feel better and superiour, they don't realise they are mentally unstable or disturbed, they have no shame, that's why these cheaters also just stream again after getting VAC banned, they don't care, they have no emotions and don't realise anything.

Or, you know, they cheated because they wanted to and it was an easy peasy lemon squeasy this is bandit country kill everything that moves way to make money fast.

He also comments on how his performance lowered once players knew his style. Which I read as "this is why I tried it".

This could imply he used it at pro events, not just one week. Furthermore, it seems he did go up in performance and it is not like pro players forgot how he played.

Don't know. It's sad overall, in particular when you think of legit players that could have won and betters that lost money.

Yeah, of course he won't tell the truth. It is quiet obvious that he comes with all this shit instead of telling that he cheated on lan which would also be fraud concidering the price money.

Maybe not jail, but it is getting serious here. Even the idea of trying to cheat is bad, I don't give a fuck if he cheated for one week just to try or not, he still cheated.

It's pretty obvious that he keeps lying, but what else can he do, admit that he cheated almost his whole career? This served as a fair warning to all PRO cheat users to stop.

There's nothing to say Valve doesn't keep logs of all your workshop downloads, uploads, etc. They're masters of metadata, it would be foolish to assume they don't keep logs of everything and anything.

I don't think too many people have sympathy for KQLY. I would assume a lot of people feel bad for Titan, and the tarnish to their reputation because of the actions of this loser.

Unless people in the organization knew and did nothing, but I haven't been keeping up on it enough. So any excused used, i just ignored the shit out of it and assume the kid was hacking.

Regardless or how, when or where, you don't cheat, especially if its your career. Use of this site constitutes acceptance of our User Agreement and Privacy Policy.

GlobalOffensive submitted 6 years ago by DontThrowAwayTreees. KQLY keeps lying about his VAC-ban, why he got VAC'd and when he cheated.

Here is why: In his facebook statement and in this interview he keeps to the statement he only cheated once to test the cheat a couple of months ago.

How VAC works in case of a public cheat: VAC not detecting certain public cheat silent VAC update to be able to detect cheaters with that certain public cheat VAC now detecting everyone cheating for that certain cheat it got updated for VAC waiting a while before banning everyone, while gathering lots of suspects Valve feels like it waited long enough and detected enough cheaters VAC BAN WAVE These VAC bans aren't delayed that much.

Usually a few weeks. NOT 3 MONTHS. VAC not detecting supex0 cheat ESEA shows Valve how to detect silent VAC update for supex0 cheat gathers info on who's cheating for a couple of days max!

KQLY for example has a sub button and 18k followers - if he wants to start new he should start from zero It is completely unfair for new and hopefully legitimate players out there who would want to join the pro scene that we let cheaters come back so easily only because they have some notoriety and might bring some viewers.
